This meta-analysis reviewed clinical trials of curcumin for depressive symptoms. It found a possible benefit and generally acceptable tolerability, while stressing the need for larger and longer randomized studies.
The review found reported benefit primarily in people with an underlying pathology or documented deficiency. It concluded that evidence does not support routine high-dose biotin use for otherwise healthy individuals with hair concerns.
