Independent LiDAR Viewer

A country-level navigation interface for selecting locally registered open LiDAR datasets without beginning inside a full GIS stack. Select a continent, choose a country, then inspect available COPC/LAZ dataset records from the attached Open Lidar Data registry. Version 2 adds a map/LiDAR layer workspace below the country metadata, with COPC source discovery, a browser point-cloud handoff, and a configurable GRASS processing endpoint for server-side rasterization or derived overlays.

Navigation

Country selection loads records from the local Open Lidar Data registry. External portal display is disabled in this build so the interface can be tuned against real attached metadata before adding live source integrations.

Library Registry Notes

The registry is designed to remain independent of any single GIS platform. Version 1 records country-level public LiDAR dataset entries from the local Open Lidar Data registry. Version 2 can extend each country into states, provinces, regions, survey blocks, downloadable point clouds, DEM/DSM derivatives, and archaeological-use notes.
