From global overburden to regional field planning

This second tool begins with an idle spinning globe. Select a region and the globe rotates toward it, then transitions into a regional prospecting map. The model adds the correction factors reserved from Tool 1: erosion, truncation, compaction, bioturbation, pedogenesis, hydrology, local landform tendency, anthropogenic disturbance, and GPR suitability.

Interpretive scope

The model remains heuristic. It is designed to help a field team reason about expected starting depth, surface invisibility, method selection, and whether regional calibration is needed before excavation, coring, or geophysical work.

Outputs are ranges, confidence bands, and method recommendations, not site-specific determinations.
